Float2Fly is seeking instructors and volunteers for its 2024 summer program! We will be offering FREE swim lessons and water safety instruction to Houston residents over the course of eight weeks (June 11th through August 2nd), and we want to start building our team now. We are looking for three positions:
Lead Instructors
Lead instructors will lead a site (pool), instructing participants in the water while also guiding assistant instructors. WSI certification is required, and applicants must commit to the entire 8-week program. Pay starts at $30 per hour.
Assistant Instructors
Assistant instructors will instruct participants in the water under the guidance of lead instructors. Lifeguard certification is required, and applicants must commit to at least one 2-week block. Pay starts at $20 per hour.
Volunteers
Volunteers will assist lead and assistant instructors as needed (typically in the water). No certification or experience is required, and applicants can commit to as few or as many sessions as desired.
